The most effective integration of technology in the classroom is when learning is designed on a pedagogical basis with clear curriculum links.

Here are 5 ways to get you started

  1. Explore and understand the TPACK and SAMR model of technology integration

  2. Build a Professional Learning Network via Twitter and/or Google+ to share and find ideas on great technology integration. Join the Learning Exchange Google+ community.

  3. Develop your technology knowledge by using a video tutorial system like Lynda.com. CEDP teachers have access to Lynda.com. See more information on OSCAR (requires login) or contact the Learning Exchange.

  4. Use Youtube to see great examples of technology integration in education. For example see the Music teacher at St Agnes integrating the use of an iPad to empower and enhance student learning.

  5. Register for a Professional Learning workshop at Learning Exchange. Search the CEDP Professional Learning portal or speak with a member of the Learning Exchange.
