Agile Learning Spaces
To provide relevant, meaningful and engaging learning for our students, school leaders need to design learning spaces that accommodate the way our students learn today and in the future.

Spaces where teachers and students can collaborate, learn together and work together. Many leading educators such as Stephen Heppell have documented the importance of agile learning spaces in supporting contemporary learning. In particular Stephen believes agile learning spaces are not just about flexibility, but also about the ability for easy and quick reconfigurability to suit the learning need at the time.
Schools in our dicoese are already incorporating many of these principles in redesigned learning spaces. Students are using learning spaces to make movies, create outdoor gardens, establish radio stations. This contemporary learning is being accommodated in stimulating and flexible learning spaces that can accommodate a range of learning needs for individuals, small groups, large groups and even whole school activities.
